The make up of the board brings us a wealth of experience and allows us to stay connected to the industry directly. The board meets on a regular basis to oversee our operation and relevance to the sporting industry.
Michael Brown
Michael Brown
Michael has been in the sporting industry for over 30 years. He brings to MemberPoint a perspective from national sporting organisations for his time with Cricket Australia, National Rugby League and Hawthorn Football Club. Michael is also Head of Strategy and Business for Ticketmaster in Australia and NZ, building industry relationships, delivering internal leadership programs and developing an extensive business network. In tandem with his business knowledge and experience interests, Michael is an adjunct professor at the University of Queensland and also at Deakin University where he chairs the prestigious Sports Advisory Board which sets policy and curriculum for its university courses. He is chair of Bastion Collective, a full-service marketing agency which provides superior solutions to client problems. His work underpins his philosophy of assisting organisations and individuals to grow and learn.
Tim Donohue

Tim started his career at Price Waterhouse Coopers, and career progression in the late eighties led him into the financial planning industry where along with his brother Paul, he established a highly successful financial planning practice, Western Pacific. The business continues to grow and evolve, and trades today as PMD Financial Advisers - a full service financial planning practice with a team of experienced advisers and support staff. Tim’s extensive experience and core approach to business – ensuring the best for his clients has ensured the longevity of the business. PMD Financial Advisers has people and families today as clients who have been dealing with the business and Tim for over 40 years. n addition to Tim’s expertise in the financial planning industry, he has extensive business interests and directorships across a range of businesses spanning the lending, sports management, healthcare and building sectors. Tim’s combined business and financial expertise is in demand by many high net worth individuals and businesses. These professional skills as well as his drive and passion to ensure the desired outcome is achieved are key to Tim’s long-standing business relationships.
Martin Jolly
Martin Jolly
Martin is a business executive with over 30 years experience in the sports, entertainment and media industries. He commenced his career in 1984 where he spent 5 years in television working for the Seven Network in advertising and marketing sales. In 1990 Martin was approached to join IMG. In his first role he started the National Sales and Marketing division for IMG before being appointed to the General Manager role for the Melbourne office. In 1997 Martin was promoted to the role of Senior Vice President and Managing Director for IMG Australia and New Zealand. In 2004 Martin was asked to move to Hong Kong where he took up the role of Senior Vice President and Managing Director for the Asia Pacific region. Martin lead IMG’s business across HK, China, Japan, Singapore, Australia, New Zealand, Korea and Thailand. Martin was instrumental to IMG’s success and contributed to the companies growth across all business units including tennis, golf, arts and entertainment, events and federations, fashion, models, sales and marketing and media. In 2000 Martin received the Australian sports medal which was awarded by Queen Elizabeth the Second and Prime Minister , John Howard for his achievements in the sports industry. In 2004 Martin was nominated by BRW magazine as the 4th most influential person in Australian sports. He was the Vice President of the Hawthorn Football Club and a board member (1997- 2004). He has also held board positions with the Kids Helpline ( 1997-2001) and the Alannah and Madeleine Foundation (1998-2002). In 2015 Martin founded his own business Sports Media and Entertainment 360- (SME 360) and with his partners built the business to over 25 events . In December of 2017 , Fairfax Media acquired SME 360 and Martin was appointed Managing Director of Fairfax Events and Entertainment. On the weekend, Tim can be found playing golf (with some degree of competence) at his club on the Mornington Peninsula.

A most successful record of leading and building businesses. Significant stakeholder experience dealing with boards, politicians, volunteers, staff, leaders and sponsors.
